Nabanga Pikinini hopes...

... to expand to include books written in the local languages. There are over 100 different languages spoken in Vanuatu, many of these languages are
dying out. To preserve their custom stories in their
own language would be a lovely gift for the children
of the future.

The Nabanga Pikinini books are sold through outlets in Port Vila. Profits from the sales are used to fund various projects. For stockists in Vanuatu see Contacts and sales outlets
2011    Aneil Naro was flown from her island of Vao to Luganville, Santo island, so she could undergo a cataract operation. Her flight was paid for by the Nabanga Pikinini fund which was held by Friends of the Museum. The Fred Hollows Foundation funded the operation.  Scroll down for the full newspaper report.
