PictureCollecting data on the six endangered species of Vanuatu which will be used for the picture dominoes game with USP science students along with Jenny James (National coordinator of the Pre primary schools) and Christina and Angie from VESS.
The games for the kindie schools was funded by the Global Environment Facility Small Grants Program and Kiwanis International Vanuatu.
Helping with the science side of the project was VESS Two games - 'dominoes' and 'build a village' were made. 
Dominoes 
depicted 6 of Vanuatu's endangered species (see below for the pictures) - Turtle, Dugong, Coconut crab Scrub duck Flying Fox and Coral
Build a Village 
A game of 56 cards each with a small picture which the children can use to make up a larger picture in any order they want. A game for a single child or group to play. A great game that encourages imagination and language skills. 


Below --- the beautiful dominoes game. Each of the six endangered species is named and numbered in the three official languages on the card which has the corresponding blank half (as shown in the picture of the scrub duck below).
