The year 7 and 8 classes of Child Care Centre with their teachers spent a morning at Vanuatu Post.
They were given Nabanga Pikinini postcards a few weeks earlier - they wrote on these and addressed them. Then they came to post their cards and were shown what happens inside the sorting room by Irene from Vanuatu Post. Many of the children had never been into the post office.
Thank you Primrose (Headmistress of Child Care Centre pictured above) for organising the whole morning - your children were wonderful and behaved so well.
Thank you Vanuatu Post for showing us how things happen behind the scenes and a big thank you to Irene who patiently told each group what happens to our post once we have put it into the posting slot out front.
BTW there was a cruise liner in that day - many of the tourists stopped to ask us what was happening.
